The Kanji characters of the design typeface "Kaimin Tsuki" are a blend of the Ming-cho typeface with the penmanship of Reisho (Chinese clerical script), and the Kana characters have a Reisho-like elegance. The skeleton of the gentle Kana has limited inflection with emphasis on the horizontal lines, and when typeset horizontally, this creates a uniform line of characters. In addition, Harai (tapered strokes) and the flow of Chinese clerical script attract one's gaze, thus making it possible to read smoothly. Taking advantage of its elegant and gentle image, it has a wide scope of uses from displays and headlines, titles and more.
