Keyaki Midashi Mincho is an elegant, robust display serif with a warmth from elements recalling the structure and ink spread of metal type. It combines slightly low-contrast kanji with calligraphic kana featuring strong, flowing strokes. For a unified appearance, it can be used with Keyaki Mincho Oldstyle and Keyaki Gothic Oldstyle, which share the same design concept. In addition to the default lining figures, old-style figures are also included and can be accessed using OpenType features.
